Something that is very important to remember is, that Cornelius already knows about (Gen 12:1-3 KJ) and the Abrahamic Covenant, and has acted on it and believed in God's Word, concerning the Gentiles blessing Israel. Peter also says that Cornelius already knows (Acts 10:37 KJ) about what has transpired in Israel about Jesus Christ going about doing good and healing people ect. What Peter 'adds' to Cornelius' understanding is that Jesus Christ has died and also Resurrected. Also, Peter talks disparagingly about the crucifixion at Pentecost,..("wicked hands" ..etc.), but not here with Cornelius.
